Principal Owner and CEO

Wilson founded the WFG family of companies in 1987. He currently serves on Fidelity Investments’ Advisory Council for clearing correspondents and has served as an advisor on various FINRA regulatory committees. Wilson serves on the board of directors of Advisors Clearing Network Inc., a national mutual fund clearing firm.  He began his career in the financial services industry in 1976 when he was employed by E.F. Hutton and Co. as a financial advisor and served as Vice President and Branch Manager in Dallas, Texas from 1982 until 1987.

Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University.  He currently resides in Dallas with his lovely wife of 41 years, Judy.  Their two children, David and Emily, are actively involved in the firm.
