Controller / Financial & Operations Principal

Varkey oversees all accounting, treasury, budgeting, tax, insurance and financing activities of the firm. Prior to joining WFG, Varkey was CFO and Controller for Unifocus LP from 2005-2007, preceded by three years as Controller for 1st Global Inc. of Dallas. He received his BBA in Accounting from University of Texas at Arlington and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas. Varkey is an active member of the Texas Society of CPA’s and holds Series 7 and 28 FINRA registrations.

Varkey and his wife, Mini, are originally from India, but have lived in the U.S. for over 20 years. They currently reside with their four children, John, Sarina, Benjamin and Joshua, in Allen, TX.
